WorkCover-Funded Exercise Physiology in Five Dock

If you've had a workplace injury and lodged a successful claim with your employer's insurer, exercise physiology is one of the allied health services typically funded as part of your treatment plan. We're approved to work with all NSW WorkCover insurers — including icare, EML, Allianz, GIO, and others.

Your treating doctor (usually your nominated treating doctor or NTD) is the gatekeeper for your treatment. They write a referral or recommendation, your insurer approves the treatment, and we start exercise rehabilitation as part of your recovery.

What it costs
No out-of-pocket expense — billed directly to your insurer.
All sessions are billed directly to your insurer at the WorkCover NSW gazetted fee rates. There's no gap fee for approved sessions, and no Medicare or HICAPS involvement. We handle invoicing and reporting on your behalf.

Common WorkCover injury presentations.

From acute musculoskeletal injuries through to long-standing claims with chronic pain components — exercise physiology has a role at almost every stage of return-to-work rehabilitation.
