WorkCover exercise physiology in Five Dock
Rebuilding the strength and capacity your job actually needs, rather than general fitness. Your insurer pays us directly on an accepted claim.
Exercise physiology on a workers compensation claim has one job: closing the gap between what you can currently do and what your work requires. That means the program is built around your duties, not around a generic rehabilitation template.
You do not pay for treatment on an accepted claim. The insurer pays us at the rates SIRA sets.
What to expect
If your claim is still being sorted out, ring anyway. Treatment can often start before a claim is decided.
We find out what your job needs
Weights, heights, distances, how long you stand, what a bad shift looks like. Vague duties produce vague programs.
We measure where you are now
Objective testing so progress is a number rather than an opinion. Insurers and employers respond to numbers, and so does your own confidence.
The program targets the gap
Graded, specific to the demands, and progressed on what the testing shows rather than on how many weeks have passed.
We report as we go
Your insurer and nominated treating doctor get written updates. That is what keeps approvals coming without you chasing them.
If you are still working out the claim
The claim process is a separate subject from the treatment, and we have written it out properly on our WorkCover site: what to do after an injury, the certificate of capacity, who pays, and how to appeal a decision you disagree with.
In NSW you choose your own provider. Neither your employer nor the insurer decides who treats you.
